Press: From November 7 to 17, General manager Feng Xiaoyi went to Japan to participate in the study course of building a paper reuse system in China sponsored by the Overseas Technicians Training Association of the Japanese Foundation. Recently, the editor of this newspaper interviewed the general manager of Mr. Feng Xiaoyi, let him talk about his experience of Japan. This article is specially written for readers.

During this study, visit and exchange in Japan, I learned a lot of useful things from relevant courses, especially from Japanese papermaking factories, waste paper packaging factories, papermaking machinery factories and residential areas. Compared with my own shortcomings, I would like to talk about the deepest three feelings.

In modern society, the ancient traditional industry of papermaking, with the continuous change and development of the scope of application of paper, is constantly given more new content, but also faces more challenges and opportunities. Due to the physical characteristics and use characteristics of pulp fibers, the recycling of paper should be one of the most worthwhile industries in all raw material industries. China and Japan, per capita resource shortage, rational use of resources, cherish resources is the goal of each of our paper industry counterparts should work together.

What we have seen and learned in Japan is now brought back to our company and passed on to the people around us, so that everyone has a new and in-depth understanding of the concept of circular economy and resource conservation, so as to establish a correct consumption concept and living habits, which is also the significance of our trip to Japan.

From the perspective of paper industry, measuring the economic development of a country and a region can look at its papermaking level and paper consumption; The degree of civilization of a country should be measured by its level of waste paper sorting and recycling and the amount of recycled paper. Perhaps such a statement is not comprehensive, but it marks the level of awareness of the people of a country and a region on the concept of circular economy and resource conservation.

In Japan, we can see that from the neat placement and clear classification of garbage at residents' gates, to the collection and transportation of recycling units, storage and re-arrangement of wholesalers, to the production and use of manufacturing enterprises, even the final classification of debris is meticulous, serious and careful, and the design of a thing that is difficult to formulate standards is nearly perfect, which is the most touching point for me.

Waste paper recycling and recycling is not only the work of the government, recycling and paper enterprises as an important link in the whole chain, should also shoulder more responsibilities. On the second morning after I arrived in Japan, several classmates and I strolled around the residential areas and shop streets in the base area, and we found that many residents and shops had placed garbage baskets and various kinds of garbage sorted. Then from the visit to the Japanese enterprises, I felt the industry staff's dedication to work. In the largest paper mill in Japan, the United Yacho Factory, I learned that the annual output of 1 million tons of paper factory, its staff allocation is only 280 people, the daily output of 1,000 tons of corrugated pulp crusher workshop only two people, which is difficult to achieve in our country. When I visited the plant and workshop, I noticed that the plant and equipment had been on for 19 years, but the facilities and equipment were clean and well maintained, and there was not a broken paper on the ground, no paper pulp spilled on the net, and no spare parts covered with oil. Two people walk according to the prescribed route, cleaning tools are also neatly hung in the prescribed area. Whether it is from the ordinary community recycling practitioners or waste paper wholesalers, or the staff of paper enterprises, people feel a high level of management, responsible staff, and perfect operating mechanism, which is my second feeling.

The third feeling is that integrity should not contain water. When asked how they test the moisture content of raw materials, the person in charge said they use their eyes and hands. This is not to say that they do not have advanced methods of testing moisture, but rather that moisture is not the focus of their testing. The same is said when visiting the packaging wholesalers. This shows that there is a good relationship between Japanese paper companies and upstream waste paper suppliers. This makes paper raw materials both in quantity and quality have a very good production environment, and waste paper suppliers due to normal profits to be guaranteed, he will do better in waste paper recycling work. Of course, government departments, industry organizations, community organizations and public volunteers have made great efforts to this end, and I am very envious of Japanese papermaking peers who use such superior waste paper raw materials for production.

Of course, there are many feelings of this trip to Japan, not to repeat. I would like to talk about two more points from the perspective of paper enterprises.

First, based on the country, based on the local, make good use of resources, do a good job in the market.

In terms of our own enterprise, located in the world's largest small commodity city, this paper supply and paper consumption market, how do we make good use of the nearby and surrounding waste paper resources and suppliers? With the in-depth implementation of the national circular economy policy and concept, the paper classification and recycling system is becoming more and more perfect, people's environmental awareness is gradually strengthened, the recycled paper market is becoming larger and larger, and the types of waste paper are becoming more and more. Strengthen the market analysis and research, and constantly improve the level of production and management, the production of marketable products is particularly important. Papermaking enterprises should become the magic of turning waste into treasure, as long as there are new ideas, naturally will develop new technologies and create new products.

The second point is to strengthen industry exchanges, learn from each other and improve together.

The peer has the State Department of Environmental Protection, the National Renewable Resources Department, the paper association, the major paper mills and waste paper suppliers a total of 28 people, many are engaged in process technology, equipment management of specialized personnel, its purpose is very clear, is to learn Japan's advanced technical experience in waste paper recycling, everyone has benefited a lot. In addition, we also learned some different ideas and methods, such as "classification is a resource, mixed is garbage", these will be digested and absorbed by our own enterprises to be applied to the future through other ways to communicate and learn with the same industry.

I hope that our internal branches will also exchange and learn from each other frequently, and jointly improve, so that our company can truly achieve healthy, rapid and sustainable development, and build a people-oriented, circular and efficient, green and environmentally friendly enterprise for a hundred years.
